The short version

I learned houses from the lumber up

I started working in a lumber yard at 16. It’s a good education in what houses are made of, what materials cost, and how builders actually work.

I got my real estate license at 19 and have been in Atlanta real estate ever since: more than 30 years and over 1,800 career closings. Along the way I’ve worked in custom construction, renovation and investment properties, which means I’ve seen projects from the slab to the closing table, including the ones that went over budget.

I’m a fourth-generation Atlantan, so the neighborhoods I talk about aren’t data points to me. I know how differently neighborhoods behave, and how much the same house can be worth two miles apart.

I also founded a cash home-buying company, which means I’ve sat on the buyer’s side of the table, run the numbers on a lot of distressed houses, and said no to far more deals than I’ve said yes to.

I started Investor Maestro Academy because I kept meeting new investors who’d learned the formula and skipped the rehab. That’s the expensive part to learn on your own.

How I teach

Plain numbers, plain talk

01

The deals that didn’t work

You’ll hear about my losses as much as my wins. The mistakes are where the lessons are.

02

No hype, no promises

I can teach a process. I can’t promise a result, and I won’t pretend flipping is easy or safe.

03

Permission to pass

The best tool I can give you is the confidence to walk away from a deal that doesn’t pencil.
